All the cousins had a great time piling in our kitchen and making their masterpieces. More pics are posted on the Sanchez Family Blog of others-but here are ours!

I made Kaitlyn's into a couple of layers and then covered it with icing for her to decorate. I think she had fun. I don't think there was an empty space left-she took me seriously when I told her to cover the frosting with candy.
And here are three great Santa's Helpers! We packed up and joined my parents in California for Christmas. We had a wonderful time and were so sad to leave! We had a great time caroling, cooking (thanks for showing us how to make toffee!), eating (ridiculous amounts), sharing presents (Ticket to Ride is the funnest game!), watching movies, listening to missionaries sing (I loved this part), hearing the christmas story read (thanks for the insights dad!), and just enjoying each others company!

On Christmas eve, we announced that it was time to open presents and Kaitlyn immediately ran over to start opening up her present! First we know of it she is yelling "Princesses!" What can you do but laugh? Happy girls. Happy mommy. I loved seeing everyone open their gifts! It was such a nice christmas!

On Christmas Morning, we woke up to discover that Santa had indeed come! Look at that crazy pile of gifts! My Mom and Dad even got some nice surprises (notice the sheep at the bottom-look familiar to anyone? More on her later). It was fun having a chance to be Santa for them too.

It was definately a princess themed Christmas for my girls! I made new outfits for Bug's Belle Doll, including these matching PJs! So cute!

Grandpa Dave got a Helicopter that was so fun to watch-the girls got a kick out of it! It was a little hard to control though-so we kept a close eye on it!
We sang a lot and the girls loved to help Grandma play the Piano.

We of course hit the park and enjoyed the warmer weather
