Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from Astrid, Merida, and Timmy!

We had a marvelous Halloween.  The children chose what they wanted to be for halloween as always, and tested their mother in the process. Bug went through at least 10 different things before deciding on Astrid from How to Train your Dragon.  Anna flip-flopped between Merida's two dresses before deciding on the "fighting" dress.  David was claimed by each girl to be their buddy as Hiccup or a little brother Bear.  I used my trump card and made him Timmy the sheep- after his favorite show.

I love Halloween. The kids are all incredibly happy and loved seeing and trying on each piece of their costume as it was finished (which in the case of Bug was a lot of pieces!) David kept saying "Baa" when he saw the white fabric and demands to wear it often.  He is the cutest sheep ever. The girls even got bags sewn to match their costume (what girl doesn't like that?) that attach to their belts, which in Anna's case is a quiver. Oh the little joys.  They don't want to take these costumes off.  I love it.

We went Trick-or-Treating at Richard's work...

and at Grandparents and cousins...

and the ward Trunk-or-Treat...

and carved pumpkins and on Halloween went trick-or-treating to a few places in the neighborhood...

These cute faces are serious candy magnets.  We would like to share.  We are still accepting trick-or-treaters at our house :)  Please.
