Weber time again! My family had its annual reunion last week up at the family cabin and we all had a great time as always! We make amazing memories at this place and between the cabin, the river, the food, and the company, we always have so much to look forward to.
There is of course fishing- David loved carrying around a pole, though he hated it actually being in the water.
And the girls thoroughly enjoyed being with so many great cousins.
We had the traditional duckie race down the river
David's duck came in 2nd! Winner, winner!
We spent lots of time tubing down the river and splashing in the cold water. We had an almost constant stream of kids coming down the river and running back up the path to do it again!
The kids got to enjoy watching movies on the wall thanks to my brother Paul's projector- it was a hit!
During our church time, my mom pulled out her chimes for the kids to play "I am a Child of God" David saw what everyone else was doing and had to get in on the action. He got his chime and stood quietly against the wall, following the example of all the other kids- so cute!
We weren't sure how it would turn out with so many little ones, but they did an amazing job! They all focused hard on Grandma Carol and the note chart and did it right on!
And loved it!!
The candy game is always a must at the Weber and this year didn't disappoint. See the very edge of the candy pile? The kids couldn't wait to roll a 6! Even David loved rolling the dice and was very lucky!
Anna got the licorice she wanted and hasn't stopped talking about it!
One of David's favorite things to do was to run around on the big porch bed and especially to wrestle daddy on it!
Grandma and Grandpa provided all sorts of crafts and activities for the kids to do. They loved every bit of it. Here is Kaitlyn digging up her Indian beads for a necklace!
On Pioneer Day we all dressed up in our Pioneer clothes, including new bonnets for the girls
And bandanas and hats for the boys!
Here are Grandma and Grandpa with the grand kids (and another was born this same day! Congrats Matt and Becky on your new little baby Derek!)
And here's the group! We missed you Ross, Hainsworth and Sanchez families!
Our family headed for Zion! The kids got lots of handcart rides, Anna said it was her favorite part of the whole week. We love Grandpa's handcart!
Grandpa, with the help of my brothers, replaced the old, broken bridge to the spring with this sturdy new one and the girls had to try it out as soon as the concrete dried! Notice the proud grandpa in the back? We are so blessed by his generosity and the work ethic that he has taught us all.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for making it possible for us to have this wonderful place to come to! We always have so much fun together. Love you all! Till next year!

These are such great pictures! I'm so sad I missed the handcart rides. I like Richard's little gun and Dad's shorts. Awesome :)
I love the pioneer kids in the handcart with Mom and Dad. Your family looks so happy in your swing shot.
