That's right, Parties. As in, party time! As Richard is still very happily involved in politics, we had a busy week this week. On Tuesday, Election night, we helped to put on an event for a great friend of ours, Senator Margaret Dayton. It was a pretty casual affair of cookies and hot chocolate with Governor Herbert, Rep Jason Chaffetz, and UVU President Matt Holand there-to name a few. It was a fun evening and while Richard wrangled logistics, I enjoyed helping with decorations.

The setting was nice and the evening turned out great. Very fun!
Last night we were invited to the Governors Gala, and got a chance to dress up and head out on a date together! It was fun to dress up fancy (I love my dress!) and I had some great people to help with my Make-up and Hair (thank you Lori and Sarah!). Definately a fun change of pace! The girls got a kick out of seeing me dressed up, though they were not impressed with the make-up. Anna kept trying to convince us to take her along, she kept trying on my shoes and had her Cinderella dress on, all ready for the ball...
