Kaitlyn Turns 4!

Our sweet Kaitlyn Bug just had her 4th Birthday!

She is getting so big and smart and helpful and is full of personality. We are so blessed with her smiles and kindness. She is always coming up with creative and thoughtful ways to help and uplift us!

To celebrate the day she had a party with her friends (she was asked which 4 friends she wanted to invite, and picked ones that all had siblings we couldn't help but invite too! So many sets of girls running around our ward!) It turned out so fun!

We had a castle themed party and asked everyone to come dressed up-everyone from the knights to princesses to Dragon Dog Frodo got into it! We made sugar cube castles (more on that later because I missed pictures during this party!), went on a Quest to find Royal Treasure (my very favorite part! A great scavenger hunt with pictures as the clue on where to go next-they went through both the house and the front and back yards till they found the treasure!) and then of course we did presents and cake!

Look at all these happy kids! Kaitlyn was just glowing and raving about everything for the rest of the day! I spent more than 30 min laying next to her in bed that night while she recapped and raved about all the fun with her friends (and finding a clue in the Bathtub!) It made it all worthwhile.

We then had a dinner on Sunday with Richards family to celebrate. Here is Bug opening up her Princess shoes (Just what she had been been asking for!). Happy spoiled girl! Its nice to have enough to go around now!

We had so much fun making Sugar cube Castles at her friend party we decided to do it again with the Grandparents! So fun! You should try it! All you need is Sugar Cubes, Royal Icing to hold everything together, and candy to decorate!

Anna and Grandma worked hard on theirs until the Candy Corn made an appearance. Anna just wanted to eat it after that...

And here are the finished products! Grandma Lambs, Anna & Granma Julies, Kaitlyns, Grandpa Lambs Aggie A, and Kristines Y! Very creative and very fun to build and snitch!
Hope you had a wonderful Birthday Kaitlyn Bug!

Kaitlyn, you look so grown up in that first picture! Paige had a princess birthday party when she was 4, too.

It was such a great party! My kids still haven't gotten over the fun they had, and the party favors are sorely fought over on a daily basis. Way to go for hosting so many little bodies! Happy birthday, Kaitlyn!
