Zoo Zoo

We had an awesome time at the Zoo a couple of weeks ago! It was a night sponsored by the University of Phoenix which meant dinner and all the Carousel riding we could handle on top of having the zoo almost to ourselves! Bug asked daily for weeks if it was time to go to the zoo yet...

And here is the gang at the zoo! Richard managed to score some extra tickets so we brought the cousins along and the kids had so much fun together.

The only downside was that it was raining and the temperature didn't even reach into the 60's. Ah, June in Utah. We bundled and made it work, and it wasn't bad. The only real downside was that the train didn't run in the rain! Ach. We will have to go again.

Luckily tons of exhibits were inside and we all enjoyed seeing the animals-especially this baby monkey with his family.

Although some things don't like being stared at...

There were so few people there that we really got some good time with the animals who were around. This guy was super friendly.

We rode the carousel over and over (well, not Anna. She was really, really not impressed)

But Kaitlyn loved picking out new animals to ride and we had a blast!

Goodbye Zoo! Goodbye fun animals! We will be back!
