Cute Girls

The girls are busy, busy, busy and loving having summer adventures. Anna is willing to try almost anything if Kaitlyn leads the way and runs miles everyday-she just keeps going. She still thinks talking is for the birds, but is very opinionated about things nonetheless. She also gives the best smiles and snuggles.
Here she is with her cousin Charlotte, who she loves, watching Peep. They have finally started playing together and were very happy to share the little couch (which will be recovered some day...).

...and they continued to be happy, even after a slight shift in positions. Charlotte sat on Anna for quite a while with nobody complaining. Hmmm...you just never know what kids will find acceptable.

Kaitlyn helped us plant our garden the other week. She is fully a girl and very particular about getting dirty, so dropped the seeds into the holes and filled them back up with her little shovel. She loves, loves to be a helper and joins in on as much as she can. If I am raking, building, cooking, whatever- she wants a tool too and is ready to jump on in. She has also picked up imaginary friends lately (mostly princesses), so when Anna is not cooperative, she always has a backup to keep her entertained. ("come on Tiana...")

Here they are stopping to smell, and pick some flowers in our yard. They love to smell flowers everywhere we go, but are only allowed to pick certain special ones. Like those yellow ones that like to grow in the grass... we gather quite a handful during our walks. Those dandelions are everywhere...

And they love to dress up and be beautiful. Here they are in their flower skirts with flowers tucked behind their ears. Kaitlyn thought that was very appropriate.
