Anna got her first taste of pancake (loved it) and I loved seeing all the great people from my old ward!
Then we were off to the Parade! Bug was so excited for it. She had arrived at our bed at about 6am that morning, clothes in hand, declaring that it was now time to go to the "'rade." Anna was not impressed with her little chair-but Bug was thrilled to be there!

It was so fun to be with all our family and cousins. The weather was actually very pleasant for a change-we even had a short downpour! It didn't stop any of the fun though. These three just pulled up a blanket and kept cheering! The parade seemed perfect this year-just the right amount of balloons, floats, horses, and music to keep the kids entertained, and just the right length too!
Even the little girls enjoyed the craziness and excitement!
After the parade we headed off to a BBQ at Springlake with Richards family. It was very nice, we love having such a wonderful place to go and wonderful people to share it with! The girls loved the attention!
And I think the Grandparents loved giving so much attention to these little ones!
We then got together for dinner with my family (including the Ross Family-up from Tucson for the holiday! Hoorah!) The cousins had a great time!
We then watched fireworks with the now traditional favorite-Tank Wars! As you can see, the kids were very excited! I love this shot-especially of Mark and Kaitlyn! We were exhausted by the end of the day-but it was all worth it. We really had fun!
