Anna in Preschool

Today was Anna's first day of Preschool.  She is thrilled to finally get to go to school like her big sister.       The preschool she is going to has the regular academics as well as a dance, karate, or singing lesson depending on the day.  I love that she is going to get to try so many new things.

This is my sweet girl.  Could someone tell her to stop growing? Please?!

Her first day went off without a hitch.  She was thrilled to go, walked right in and got to work tracing letters at her seat.  I was worried (hopeful?) that she might need me to stay for a minute, but a quick goodbye hug and kiss was all she needed :) Since it had just been her birthday, we sent her with treats to share with her class, which all but one kid apparently enjoyed (these are the important details she shared with me later).

She came home with a birthday crown and a big grin. She told me about how she got to twirl in the dance studio and learned to bow and stand still in Karate. She has lots of teachers and they are so nice.  School was "awesome."
