St George

We got to spend a fun weekend down in St. George as a family when Richard needed to teach at the campus down there on a Friday. He used to teach down there more often so we used to do this a lot. We havn't been down there as a family since David was born, so this was extra fun.

Richard took the girls on a little adventure to where they played on the red rocks and found a fun pond to walk around and see all the people fishing.

We of course stopped at the temple where the girls got to push all the buttons in the Visitors Center and admire the beautiful paintings of Christs life there (great teaching moment!). Their favorite part though was seeing two brides that had just been married and were there taking pictures with their families on the Temple Grounds. The girls kept insisting we go over and take pictures of them too. They loved how beautiful they looked!

We also played at the park by the town square area, which has a super fun fountain and all these fun rocks and places to run and climb (which normally have water around them too, but it is December!)

Kaitlyn of course made a friend.

And we had to get a picture of Richard with the cougar! Hello Cosmo!

We played around the fountain for a long time. Not in, it was sunny and warm, but not that warm! David even got a kick out of it and kept giggling as the water would shift.

The girls would inch up, touch the water, and then run away as fast as they could!

Greatest game ever!

We also spent lots of fun time at the hotel in the swimming pool (huuuuge hit!), visiting Richard's mission president's wife, and just relaxing, eating, and watching movies. It was a great weekend!
