Anna's Graduation performance was awesome. We have the video to prove it. She has learned so much and has gained so much skill and confidence in everything over the past two years at Center Stage. We are so blessed to have found this school for her.
Anna's karate moves rock. She is little and she is fierce. They performed their skills to "eye of the tiger" which was the coolest idea and the kids were all so into it- including all their animal inspired moves! The rest of the performance was 80's themed and Anna loved her 80's outfit- especially the sparkly shirt and blue tights. Oh- and being introduced to the scrunchy ("we need lots of these").
Anna has the moves. She was front and center, leading the rest of her class. She was so excited to perform and was concentrating so hard. I'm glad I caught a couple of her little smiles. She was having so much fun!
Miss Shirley was Anna's teacher (isn't that a great name? Haven't you always wanted a Miss Shirley for a teacher?) and Anna loved her (I should mention she embraced the 80's look for the performance. She didn't normally dress like this...) Lots of good memories made this year. When the performance was all over, we gathered Anna's things together and then asked her if she wanted to say goodbye to anyone. At that moment she burst into tears. My sweet girl. She didn't want it to be over and was going to miss everyone so much! We couldn't talk to her about school for days without her beginning to cry again. She gives her heart to things and I love my Anna Girl so much. We are so proud of you Anna!
